Check Your Character....

Well today's lesson is on character. Okay let me stop, just kidding, I have been doing a little searching on things that mean the most. And I came across one of many subjects that people seem to loose sight of. And that is our character.

And I am not talking about the character, Dora the Explorer, or Sponge Bob Square Pants. I'm talking about the character that Webster's Dictionary, defines as , one of the attributes or features that make up or distinguish an individual. Character is something that either we have or don't have. If we say that we are going to do something then do it. Don't back up on your word. We must do what is right just because we know that it's right. For instance, if I go to McDonald's, and I know my meal is $2.99, and I give the cashier, a $20 bill, and she gives me $50.00 back, well I automatically know that it is wrong to walk off and say that god has blessed me. That is so wrong, my character would not allow me to walk off and do that. I would have to do the right thing and take the rest back and say hey sweetheart you may want to be extra careful next time because you gave me to much money back.
I did right because I know that right will follow me.

We should all be concerned with what we as a person are doing wrong and right its the little foxes that destroy the entire vine. I'm not here to pass judgement or throw stones and hide my hand. I am here to bring knowledge to those who are lacking it. Because lord knows that there are many who are just lacking, or they just plainly plan to try to block heaven's blessing up for every one else. Same as in the church how can you come to church on Sunday, and shout during PE, the pastor preaches you're all gong ho. But when church is over, you're acting as if you didn't hear a word that was said. The change starts within ourselves, there is a total difference in between, being saved making a mistake, and getting up from that mistake and learning from it. Versus, making a mistake and deciding "O Hey I'm gonna build sand castles in it", that is why so many people decide not to come to church, or not get saved because you set the most UGLIEST EXAMPLE! Why come to church and try to hear about Jesus, when they just saw you dropping it like its hot in the club, or better yet taking shots of patron to the head. We have to do better, it's a must, and the way god is killing people now I would want to try to do right for myself, because I want to make it to a brighter place at the end of the day.
No man is promised tomorrow not even me!!!!
We have to consider our decisions, and our character. Because you could be effecting someone else. Until then I will be praying for everyone in the entire world that we raise our expectations! That the spirit of excellence flows like never before among us, so that we can love one another without the extra!

Until next time!

Decisions Will Effect You...

Good day all,

Well for those of you who don't know me. I am TaLacey, and I am all for empowering our community. Well, I wanted you all to know that whether you are young, old, middle aged, or not even thought of yet. Just know that all decisions you make in life, have a consequence. And a consequent, is not always negative. As sometimes we are led to believe. You can have a postive or negative consequence.

For instance, if my mother tells me "TaLacey dont put your hand in that fire, it's hot", but I do it any way, well whats the consequence. My hand gets burned off. I mean its the truth, sometimes we tend to want to make our own pathway. And thats totally fine. But sometimes we can avoid some hard times if we just listen and become more aware of the decisions we make in life, and try to get an understanding of the consequence that we will have to endure. Lord knows Ive made my share of bad, and good decisions but things happen for a reason. Everything has a reason! Good and Bad. Those times are what make us the beautiful person we are today. But as far as our future. It can be saved if we just take a little more time to think before we speak, or better yet think before we react.

All, it took was for you to read this blog, and decide "Hey! Im gonna get up and I will start that new business, I will BE SUCCESSFUL!!!". After awhile, when you get so many doors that close in your face. DO NOT be upset, DO NOT cry, DO NOT sit on your talent! Get your DO NOTHING up and make your own door. And I grant you that once, you make your own door the other doors will open, with people coming out ready to walk through your door. The other day I was in a deep conversation with my sister (Raynetha), and my mind went way back to when I was in kindergarden. How many have ever heard the story of the little red hen???

If you haven't what rock were you under?? (lol), Well after the hen asked, for help, she asked for someone to help her plant the grain of wheat, she asked for someone to help her make it into flour and then cook it. And no one helped. (Sounds familiar), O' But when it was time to eat they came out in flocks. And what did she say.

I will Eat it myself. When are you going to make the decision to eat it yourself? When are you going to make the decision to move on to the next level. I did, and now will you join me.

Much Love -Lacey

Patience is a virtue.....

Hello All, Its be awhile since I wrote on my blog. I woke up this morning feeling very great. But I have to go ahead and get somethings out these things that I am thinking might just help someone else along the way. Any way, Ive had a serious problem with patience but over a year ago I learned a serious lesson. That it may not come when you want it but it will come right on time, when it does happen or if we allow it to happen on its time. Well, and over the pass few days Ive realized love is the same way. Love requires patience, and sometimes (well most of the time) we have to allow it to happen when its time for it to bloom. Its kind of like a flower, when you plant the seed in the ground and water it but you dig it up before its time it will never bloom.

You cannot rush love, a person can feel the connection between the two (meaning you and him) But if he is rushing it expecting you to love him, before you even know what his favorite color is. Over these pass few months Ive come to realize that you can love a person, but to actually be in love with that person it takes time. It takes a few walks in the park, standing in the sand and holding hands, and it takes a few conversations over dinner. YOU CANNOT RUSH LOVE!!! You cannot overnight love, and expect for the receiver to accept the package. All women are different "Yes" I'll be the first to admit that we can be complex sometimes but if you take your time, and don't rush, or pressure us into what you think we need then you'll never receive the Gold. Well any way that's all for now I'll be back with something new.

Opening Doors...

Hey Everyone,

Well its been minute since Ive graced you all with my presences. Well anyway Since my birthday Ive had a packed weekend, week and all of thee above. Well it all started with my birthday weekend. My mom, sister, and I woke up and got ready we meet my realtor Lynn (@ America's Top Realty), and we spent the day with her getting ready for our move. But anyway I have

been hard at work. Because I am planning an exhibit here in Pensacola, Florida. Because since all Ive been hearing is there is nothing here to do. And honestly that is the TRUTH!!!! but I'm about to change all of that. Would you come?? I know you would I hear yeses! all over the place. Well I am working hard on a couple of things, some I wont tell you because now is not the time, others I'll go ahead and let you know now. Well I have a greeting card line that I am working on. Its going to be a hit here in Florida. Because a few people Ive allowed to see the vision prematurely and they LOVE IT!!!!! Well after we spent a couple of hours over in Destin, I wanted to go to the bookstore. I love to read, and write as some of you can tell. And I found a book written in the 1800's, I'm putting everyone that I know of on this book because its awesome. As A Man Thinketh by James Allen.

Here's a passage from it, For some it might be a little deep but pray about it, hecks! read it about 20 more times til you understand it. Its worth it!

The human mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild. But whether cultivated or neglected it, must and will bring fourth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall, accumulate and will reproduce their own kind. Just as the Gardner cultivates the plot, keeping it free from weeds and cultivating the flowers and fruits which are required, so may we tend the garden of our mind, weeding out all the wrong useless, and impure thoughts and cultivating toward perfection the flowers and fruits of right, useful, and pure thoughts.

Can anyone say Aaaaaawwwesome! (**BiG Cheese :)), well Ive always wanted to do what I love the most here in Pensacola and Lord, is it manifesting. Proverbs 23:7 " As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". And that is so true. The beauty of life lies in the mind. So after we visited the bookstore we made our way to Baskin Robbins! (31 Flavors!)

My Birthday was great, life is great. Doors are opening, all over and no one can close them. Are you allowing your doors to open? Well as I stated I'm working on several things, and events. So I will keep you posted until them. More Love!

Great Expectation....

Well today has been a Awesome! day. My sister and I woke up this morning, and ran (walked too) 2 miles. I have been focusing on my art work I have a few things that I am working on. I wish that I could show them to you but now, but now is not the time. I will be able to show you what I have come up with, within about 3 days. But I am switching my style as far as painting, and drawing. I'm coming out of the box, have you ever thought about doing that? Setting your expectations greater than what you believe. Well for those of you who don't know tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 25 years old, and man have I come a long way but I wouldn't have gotten to where I am today without a little bit of FAITH! I painted a picture about a month ago called "Out", and basically the painting, itself is self explanatory. As you view the picture you see a woman coming out of a voidness (if that is a word), out of this black cannon ball, out of a troublesome storm. She wants out but as she comes out she is bringing others with her. And that I feel is what I am here to do. Which is as I move up, help my brothers and sisters. I said that to say this, when we have a little faith and we expect great things to happen, or if we just believe we set the atmosphere for our future. When I eat everyone eats that is my duty to let everyone know of the the greatness of the lord. (James 2:17)

Back to the Beginning...

Hey EverYOnE!
Welcome to my blog. My name is TaLacey. And first let me introduce myself. If I could pick any two words to describe me they would have to be vibrant and humble. Well I started this blog, because I wanted to give people, the opportunity to get to know me and my art work. Ive been drawing before I was birthed, if that makes sense. I was birth with many gifts. Drawing and painting are just a couple of the gifts that the lord has blessed me with. Well I named this post "Back to the Beginning". Because of the fact that many of us get off the course of what we are suppose to be doing. We lose focus of what is most important. Whether its your children, husband, cooking, loving, and caring just to name a few. Well lets make myself an example, I am willing to do that (I'm not ashamed). Well starting about two years ago, my grandfather passed matter of fact in 3 days will mark the 2ND year anniversary of his death (Rest in Peace Grandaddy George), well anyway after his death, god allowed a shaking to take place in my life. I was very complacent with my spiritual life. But in reality I was not where I was suppose to be (rather where god wanted me to be). So I moved to Atlanta, Ga. Where I started doing things that I normally didn't do but in the back of my head I knew I needed to straighten up. Moving right along, after I begin to seek his face, a few things happened. For one, I would always drive like crazy (especially speeding) and coming down a back road leaving my aunts house. My engine in my car blew up which at that time I had no choice but to stay with a good friend. But after that things began to happen, I had no choice but to fall on my face to the lord, and he brought me out, where now the real focus is him and the many gifts he has given me, painting being one of them. I am determined to use it. To let the world know that hey some of the simple things we take for granted and forget we need to add that back into our lives. (Ya know what I mean). So I say to you stay focused and put your mind on the lord, and he will provide you everything you need in order to be the best person, you can be. I said all of that to say "Back to the Beginning... ", you see Genesis 1, god created the heavens, the earth, and everything in it. He even created us to be like him (Gen 1:27, Gen 2:22-23), and before man (& woman) ate from the tree of forbidden fruit (Gen 3:6) we had everything we needed, and in order to get back where we need to be, we should seek our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Because without him we are just in existence, we will never get to experience life, and life more abundantly. Until we realize that we need him, especially in this world, today with so many things going on. I pray, and I have faith that my blog, as well as my art work reaches someone who may not understand their situation, who may need that extra push for that new business, for that someone out there who needs someone to understands their struggle. We all are human, we all are different, our struggle was created just for us. There is something that we need to get out of it (Meaning your struggle). And with that being said I hope that I inspire someone, child, woman, man, or teenager. To push toward the mark. The mark of excellence, the mark of greatness. I pray that you enjoy my art work and all that is to come.
Much Love, TaLacey
